The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) is a wholesale development finance institution established to alleviate financing constraints faced by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria through financing, partial credit guarantees, and technical assistance provided via eligible financial intermediaries.
Through its accreditation as a Direct Access Entity (DAE) to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), DBN supports climate mitigation and adaptation projects across sectors including renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, productive use of energy, low-carbon transport, resilience building, and cross-cutting climate initiatives.
